Building a Community & Sitting with Discomfort with Leah Ladson

May 21, 2021

In today’s podcast episode I speak with a true Rural Rockstar, Leah Ladson. Leah is one of Australia’s emerging go-to photographers for Commercial and Branding photography, as well as a recognized Wedding & Family photographer too. Leah’s work has been seen in several National & International publications as well as adding ‘Author’ to her belt in 2018 being a co-writer for the book “Weddings, Weddings, Weddings”. Leah wears several hats in her business, she is a Photographer, but also offers mentoring to start-up businesses, as well as being the owner/founder of regional group ‘Girls From The Go’ which supports regional women who run their own business.

Leah’s story is one I think many of us can connect with currently. She is currently stepping back and saying “I just don’t know”- it’s an arms in the air, area of discomfort for Leah, but an area that is leading her down a new path. I know we all feel these moments of discomfort, and wonder how we will navigate. I think this conversation is an important conversation to listen to, it will make you feel less alone, and empowered to keep going. There’s also some great snippets of wisdom and things to try.
